Cyclo-cross rides of the month went to Philip Glowinski for 4th in the regional championships as well as a few other London League podiums. George Jary for 1st Junior at the Footscray round, which was also 9th overall, and Stanley Platts for 3rd in the regional championships along with regular podium finishes at London League events.
Most people have been braving the cold, if not at a cross race, then on the club runs, or at the various training sessions still happening at Herne Hill over the winter. It is possible to stay warm during winter however.
The Lee Valley track leagues still have a very high VCL turnout (more pictures due for next month’s update)
Ontop of the local track league, Iain went one better by taking part in the support races at the 3 Days of Geneva. Riding with ex Saturday morning traning coach James Connell who now lives out there they finished the weekend just 1 point off 3rd place.
Before the month wound up for Christmas, it was time for the annual hillclimb and Christmas lunch. This years edition was notable in that it featured a downhill section!
