Facebook is the replacement for our old club forum. Anyone can read the VCL Facebook page – they don’t have to register with Facebook. This is the place to post small pieces of news, race reports, ask questions, announce events etc. In order to post comments you need to be registered with Facebook which is free, quick and commonplace. This can be a very useful means of sharing information, but will only be as strong as the information that club members put on it – so use it!
Short pieces of club news and updates get posted to Twitter. Again, you don’t need to be a member of Twitter to read the VCL page. Recent tweets are also posted to the side of every page on the VCL site, and on the Facebook page. There’s no excuse not to keep up with the news!

If you have larger pieces of news that you think would be appropriate to post on the front page of the VCL site, please ask and we can arrange for you to have a login to add news. This is where the club’s achievements get showcased to the rest of the world, so don’t be shy if you’ve done something interesting or know someone who has!
